Description
Composition:
Each ml solution contains : 10 mg Ivermectin and 100 mg Clorsulon .
Activity:
Agramectin 1% + Clor is a combination preparation containing Ivermectine active against
parasitic nematodes, arachnids and Clorsulon which is a sulphonamide acting primarily
against adult and immature liver flukes.
Ivermectin binds selectively and with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion
channels, leading to an increase in the permeability of the cell membrane to chloride ions
and finally resulting in hyperpolarization and consequently paralysis and death of the
parasite.
Clorsulon is rapidly asborbed into the blood and acts by the inhibition of enzymes in the
glycolytic pathway.
