AGRAMECTIN DRENCH – ORAL SOLUTION

Agramectin drench is indicated for treatment and control of mixed infections of gastro-intestinal nematodes including benzimidazole-resistant strains of Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia circumcincta and Trichostrongylus colubriformis in calves, sheep and goats.

Composition:

Each ml contains: 0.8 mg ivermectine.

Indications:

Treatment and control of mixed infections of gastro-intestinal nematodes including

benzimidazole-resistant strains of Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia circumcincta and

Trichostrongylus colubriformis in calves, sheep and goats.

Agramectin drench is also effective against larval stages of nasal bot (Oestrus ovis) and

lungworms (Dictyocaulus filaria).

Side-effects:

Slight coughing after treatment which should be temporary only, muscoskeletal pains,

oedema of the face or extremieties, itching and papular rash.

Dosage and administration: Orally using any standard drenching equipment.

The general dose is 2.5 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.

Withdrawal time: 14 days before slaughtering.

Animals producing milk for human consumption should not be treated during lactation or

within 28 days of the commencement of lactation.

Storage: Keep closed in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight and safe from children.
