Description:

AGROFLOX 10% contains enrofloxacin which belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gramnegative bacteria like Campylobacter, E-coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma. Pasteurella, Salmonella Spp.

Composition:

Each ml solution contains 100 mg enrofloxacin.

Indications:

Gastrointestinal-, respiratory- and urinary tract infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to enrofloxacin, like Campylobacter, E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp. and Mycoplasma in poultry, swine, calves, sheep and goats.

Contra-indications:

Hypersensitivity to enrofloxacin. Administration to animals with  serious impaired renal- and/or liver function. Do not administer simultaneously with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.

Side-effects:

Hypersensitivity reactions and cartilage lesions in joints when administered to young animals in growth.

Dosage and Administration: Supply orally via drinking water.

Poultry: 1 ltr per 1.500-2.000 ltr drinking water during 3 – 5 consecutive days.

Swine: 1 ltr per 1.000-3.000 ltr drinking water during 3 – 5 consecutive days.

Calves, goats and sheep: Twice daily 10 ml per 75-150 kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.

In case of salmonellosis treat for 5 consecutive days.

Withdrawal time: 12 days before slaughtering, 7 days for eggs.

Storage: Keep closed in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight and safe from children.
